i find this means of communication incredibly whimsical and i hope, whoever you are, that you have stumbled upon this letter because you are in search of some kind of adventure, otherwise, why would you have picked up this piece of parchment that i have left inside a flower pot, covered in dirt....? unless, you are the herbology professor, in which case professor, i apologize for leaving another note in one of your pots and please feel free to dispose of it accordingly... BUT! IF YOU ARE THE ADVENTURE SEEKER I SO HOPE TO ENCOUNTER: i am in need of a daring adventurer willing to help me sustain the wrath a baby dragon (please don't tell dumbledore) help please?

bullocks, you are too clever ms. letosat! you've discovered it is indeed i, professor hill. and an adventurer! wonderful! ah yes, those marauders are quite the adventurers too---SO! i must make a confession to you now... while visiting dragon reserves in romania, i came across a strange fellow, on my journey back to london, who was stealing dragon eggs from the reservation! i caught him and (brilliantly so i might add) retrieved the egg! now, i didn't have the galleons to make a return trip to romania so... i have the dragon egg! i swear i could hear it calling my name from inside the egg, "papa hill! papa hill!"
it belongs to a swedish short-snout and i believe it might hatch at any moment!
