[img src="http://d2tq98mqfjyz2l.cloudfront.net/image_cache/1335829181235651_animate.gif["] Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. She could see her every breathe she took in the cold air as the sky's light began to dim. She had snuck out only an hour earlier, avoiding the fact that the prefects and teachers would've been roaming the corridors by that this time to make sure no students lurked about the castle. At least outside now she only had to worry running into Hagrid or Filch. Niether of which was much of a challenge. Hagrid would have just taken her back, and well.. Filch was just too plain dumb to catch her. She opened the tiny bottle of fire whiskey and slammed it down, trying to avoid the god awful taste of the hard alcohol. She made a disgusted face feeling it hit her taste buds and burn down her throat, but continued to walk on deeper into the woods. She had good reason to be nervous now that she had realized tonight was a full moon, and to prove to her friend that she wasn't messing with her when she divulged her secret. She was indeed, an animagus.
After walking a ways in, she figured it was safe to rest a bit. Her small legs had began to tire a bit with the walk, as well as the heavy burden she was carrying on her that seemed to be weighing down her thoughts. As she rested, she spotted a group of thestrals. They were quite fascinating to watch out and about though not many had the privilege to see the wondrous creatures. She never could understand why seeing death triggered ones ability to see them. Maybe they were just a glimpse of what death was like.. Grim yet peaceful. She could only imagine but to her, she figured it was a point of darkness, yet pure serenity. She feared death a little less every time she saw the thestrals.. They were a life from death. Two young thestrals ran around, frolicing and enjoying themselves at play. One stumbled, rolled over right into Angel's feet. It looked up at her with a blank expression as it tried to comprehend what it had just done. She giggled patting its head. It stumbled trying to get back to its feet, but the youngling did just fine managing to stand on its own. It trotted off as Angel managed to look up at the sky.
As the thestrals flew off, she managed to find a clearing, and sat in the grass. She looked up as the clouds began to give way, letting her know that the time had come. She laid down before she shifted in the plush green grass. She felt her bones shifting, growing immensely and rapidly. She let out a small whimper of pain, but she forced herself to stay strong.. Just stay strong. That's all her little body could do as she closed her eyes. She had became much more used to the magic, though she had to admit at first it hurt with her not having as much experience to control the animagus spell.
The wolf was a pale white color. It's legs were long and slender. Though she wasn't quite as big as an older shifter, she was still a large creature. She opened her eyes, a pale blue-yellow shifting its sights every which way. She was excited at that moment, eager to do just about anything anything. The creature ran in a graceful, powerful sprint as it looked up, gazing idly at the moon. It let out a large howl, snapping its jaw viciously as it heard the sound of a twig snap not too far. She stopped in her tracks.. Just about anything could be in these woods.. She growled, prowling cautiously trying to avoid the sound.

It was the full moon again. It seemed to Sirius as if the last cycle had ended only days ago instead of weeks, but here he sat, curled up near his buddy Remus, watching him howl in pain. He was concealed with the other marauders- three animagi and one werewolf- in the abandoned, and recently rumored to be haunted, shrieking shack.
Some may say that breaking not only school rules, but the law, was a stupid and foolish thing to do, but to Sirius it was worth it. They would do anything for one another, the four best mates, no matter the risk- a matter of fact that was just an added bonus. The thrill was what made life fun! Not that watching Remus in such horrid pain was by any means fun.
Sirius needed air, the room was stuffy and his long black fur did nothing to help, so he stood, looked at his friends as if to say he'd be right back- they would figure- and padded down the tunnel. It smelled of roots and earth as Sirius navigated through it, head down, until he could hear wind whistling from ahead. Suddenly Padfoots ears perked and he stopped in his tracks, crouching low. The sound of footsteps had floated to his ears. Who could be wandering the grounds so late? Hagrid? Filch?
Cautiously, Sirius stalked to the entrance and peered out with his glowing eyes. There was no one around- wait. He spotted a slim figure in the distance. A student? Curiosity pulled him from the roots of the Womping Willow and into the crisp night.
Sticking to the shadows, Padfoot followed the girl who he soon recognized as Angelique, a Gryffindor heart throb to many of his dorm mates. What was she doing out so late with that sly twinkle in her eyes? His question was soon answered as she morphed into a majestic white wolf. Angel was an animagus? Surprised by this revelation Sirius took a reckless step back- snap! He cringed as the twig broke under foot. Angel was on immediate alert, baring her teeth in his direction.
Sirius wondered briefly what would be best to do now. Run? Emerge as a dog? As himself? Which was a higher risk, his secret being revealed or him being attacked? One too many people knew his secret already. Sirius stepped silently from the shadows, a knowing look on his canine face as he addressed her with a low bark, hoping she'd understand he was not a threat. He didn't want to have to hurt a girl.

The sound of another animal's footsteps came from the distance, causing her eyes to perk up in a jolt. She stood with her nose to the air as she began sniffing frantically at the air. Where was it? Her eyes widened as she began to pick on his smell. It was obviously another animal, and about her age. She held her upward stance as she could feel the scent traveling, and becoming stronger. He must have heard her howl, after all. Se wasn't particularly silent about it. She trotted towards the sound on all fours, sniffing the air more as she could feel him only a few meters away at least. When the sound of a twig snapping caught her attention, she growled. Just because she could smell another coming closer didn't mean that sound came from her own kind. It could have easily came from an animal that would soon be her part two of dinner. She bared her teeth, moving slowly in a crouched position. She was ready for just about anything at that point, stalking what could potentially be her prey.. She sniffed, but instead of smelling a deer or some other defenseless creature in came the same scent of the male from before. Her growl slowly dimmed down to a grumbling noise in the back of her throat. She wasn't going to leave anything to chance by losing her cautiousness at whatever it could be. She began to move closer through the brush and thick foliage. She soon saw the dark black creature she had caught scent of. It was a dog.
She approached him cautiously, sniffing in his direction. She came within a few feet of him, staring at his eyes with her own icy blue orbs. She scrunched her face, unsure if he would accept her, or if he would attack. With her kind, they were usually very benevolent to one another but some could easily be vicious no matter what despite the pack mentality. She sniffed curiously at his nose, giving him a small lick to his snout affectionately before moving back a bit to be ready for anything. She didn't want to give the idea that she felt aggressive towards him. She, like many of her kind, wanted to be around others like herself and even a dog was a good companion. It was comforting not only to her wolf side, but even as a human. She didn't have to feel alone. She howled up at the moon, hoping he accepted her signs of benevolence. Otherwise, She was in for one hell of a fight. She wasn't much bigger than him but she knew in a fight he'd probably put up just as much of a fight.
She then shifted back, petting the dog softly. "You're just the cutest thing!" she said. petting him with a smile. "What are you doing all the way out here?" She said, sitting in the leaves and brush next to the black dog.

Hogwarts had plenty of great places to escape, something that Paige Letosat was always very thankful for. She had two younger brothers who were always teasing her and a very worrisome older brother that sometimes got on her nerves. She didn't like having so many people around and would rather be left alone to worry about her own thoughts, it was much easier then really. Pulling her hair up with her hands and tying it into a high ponytail the girl pushed through the common room door, trying to ignore the careless banter around her from younger and older students. She knew she was sometimes a little too mature for her age, or was just a little rude and blew off people easily, but she needed time to relax as well. Maybe that explained why most of her friends were also gone, well she didn't really have that many but she hadn't seen them since lunch. Dinner had been less than an hour ago and even then she hadn't seen Angelique
WIP oh so sorry

Padfoot held still as the wolf that was his house mate scrutinized him with clear blue eyes, and then stepped forward and licked his snout. Unsure of how to react but taking it as a gesture of friendliness, Sirius relaxed his stance and sat on the forest floor.
The dog inside of him was simply happy for a companion, but Sirius was aware that he was at a pivot point- he could go along and allow her to think he was just a lost dog, or reveal himself and have a good laugh about it- She couldn't reveal his secret without risk to herself. they were at a stalemate. Plus, if she found out later it could be bad, she would feel deceived, and Sirius would rather have friend than enemy.
Sirius wasn't startled as Angelique suddenly shifted into human form, as perhaps a real stray would. He had seen the transformation many times before. Sirius could've laughed as the notorious heart breaker began to stroke his fur. " You're just the cutest thing! What are you doing all the way out here?" she asked, obviously not expecting an answer. Should he give her one?
Sirius was tempted to shift back just for her reaction, but it was more than that. He had felt so powerless since Christoph learned his secret- Sirius wanted to feel in control again for once. Not that the reckless Gryffindor thought that far into his emotions- he never did. Sometimes it was good, other times not so much. Hopefully this would fall into the former category.
Sirius looked around for anyone who could be watching, and then shifted quickly into himself, grin and all. "I could ask you the same." he said lightly, his eyes the only thing about him holding any intensity as he scrutinized her reaction.

Angelique pet the dog's soft black fur with a smile, as she sat next to it in the grass. However, the calm moment quickly turned into that of frustration as the dog shift out of virtually no where. She quickly whipped her hand away from the animal, as it took the shape of an all too familiar friend. Sirius?! Sirius Black was an animagus?! Now she had seen everything. She sat, staring at him dumbfounded for a moment, unable to utter a single word as she clearly was overtaken by shock She'd only ever met her grandparents who had mastered the animagus transformation, and she'd never thought any other student was quite crazy enough to try doing a dangerous and clearly illegal for there age form of magic. She had to admit, Sirius being that crazy wasn't a shock, but she still couldn't help but sit and stare as she looked at him. "but, what..erm.." She began babbling like a complete idiot trying to let her brain catch up to the situation she was in.
After finally taking control of her mouth she glared, slapping her friend on the arm," Seriously, Sirius?!" She said, before hiding her face as she realized how dumb that probably came off. I mean really, she said seriously, sirius.. She looked at him one more time giving him a good slug on the arm, before crossing her arms. "Sirius Black. I cannot believe you would let me act like that with you when you knew. I really should hit you again for that.." She said, grumbling as she sat with her arms crossed in an irritated manner as she starred at the ground. "I suppose we're at a stalemate. Please, just.. Don't tell anyone and I'll keep my mouth shut about you." She said, looking back up at her friend with an almost pleading look. Yes, he obviously couldn't but she hoped he didn't even have the want to do so. She would never have outted Sirius anyways. They'd been friends a long time. Maybe they had never been that close of friends, but they hung around with eachother and it wasn't in Angel's nature to rat out anyone.

Angels reaction was comical. She whipped her hand away and then gaped at him; his friend sat there, her mouth open in shock, stuttering. Sirius burst out laughing. "What, never seen an animagus before?" he asked jokingly. She scowled back, slapping him one the arm- "Seriously, Sirius?"
Sirius chuckled- did she really just say that? "I seriously am serious!" he replied lightly. His joking got him slugged in the arm. She could hit hard- for a girl ."Sirius Black. I cannot believe you would let me act like that with you when you knew. I really should hit you again for that.."
"I shifted back, didn't I?" he replied, grinning. Sirius knew she wasn't really upset, it took alot to ruffle Angelique."I suppose we're at a stalemate." she said finally, " Please, just.. Don't tell anyone and I'll keep my mouth shut about you." Sirius nodded- great minds think alike. "Wouldn't dream of it." he reassured her.
Sirius wondered briefly if Angel would connect the dots about the other marauders. Well, Prongs, perhaps, depending if she figured he was as crazy as Sirius. Unlikely she would guess Wormtail- he wasn't the risk taking type, and fat chance she would guess about Moony's condition. He would be considered too level headed to be suspected for anything illegal in the first place. Not that Sirius was worried about the wolf animagus ratting anyone out, but that was his gamble to take, not a risk to take for any of his mates.
He looked back at his friend, and then shifted back into the shaggy black dog. It made him uncomfortable to be vulnerable in human form out in the woods. Someone could see him and get suspicious. He looked at Angelique with his now canine eyes- he could spare a few more minutes for a walk until he figured out how to get back to the others unnoticed.
