freddie hill excitedly gathered up the ravenclaw and hufflepuff students for a lesson by the black lake in care of magical creatures today. today they would a discuss a semi-dangerous creature that lived in the lake for centuries. "alright everyone, gather round!" professor hill called out clapping his hands together to silence his students. "today i'm very excited to bring you a lesson from the black lake! we're going to be studying a fascinating creature, which is somewhat dangerous. now, this creature is a mer-horse with the head and forequarters of a horse and the hindquarters and tail of a giant fish!" he jerked about excitedly. "can anyone tell me which magical creature we are about to study? you may open your copies of fantastic beasts and where to find them if you must!"

Abigail had already rifled through her text book on several occasions, certainly often enough for this basic question, not to mention the interest she had for these particular aquatic creatures. Her hand shot up first, and she felt fulfilled to be the first to answer "A Hippocampus" she answered brightly, with a modest smile. She answered not to show off, but to test herself, and for the confidence it gave her.

professor hill nodded toward abigail murray for her answer as her hand eagerly shot up in the air. ravenclaws always were the first to answer in most lessons, but abigail usually beat even the rest of them to it. "well done ms. murray! 5 points for your house," freddie exclaimed. "now let's all observe these fascinating creatures..." freddie motioned over to the lake where a couple of the hippocampi were swimming towards the edge of the lake bobbing in and out of the water like dolphins. "what else can anyone tell me about these beautiful sea creatures?"
