homework for students.

this won't get me any house points, but I was thinking: professors can hold lessons, as was suggested before, but how about assigning homework? depending on the assignment/teacher, it could range anywhere from five to twenty house points upon completion -- five being normal work, twenty being some incredibly hard, time-consuming assignment that really should never be given out because LOL poor students.

like, if cel's the astronomy teacher, then perhaps assigning something along the lines of 'map out constellations for a week' and having that be threaded out (without the five-hundred word minimum, because that's kind of a lot for a solo thread like that). it would give more opportunities for house points, as well as something for professors to do and ideas for students to thread together, if they wanted to.

a teacher could just make a thread with the current homework assignments or something, and students could sign up via pm and start threading it out or whatnot. /two cents

that sounds good to me! yeah i want profs to have the freedom to run their lessons and what not however they want to. your idea sounds great : )
