ANTHONY MICHAEL TODD
Tony Todd, his name is Tony Todd. Born to a small family out of Godric's Hollow, Tony was never what you would consider a remarkable child. His family were not rich, but was well off enough to know that they would never starve. Mr. Todd was a writer, a journalist and was away on interviews and assignments most of Tony's young life. His mother had been a healer, but she left work to tend to her own child often taking small obs within the village whenever she was called upon. Everything was nice, peaceful, and never really exciting at all. Tony grew up without a care in the world, but sadly he was slow. Even with his mother caring for him, Tony didn't speak a word until he was four-years-old. He was the silent type, always watching others and learning from them without them actually teaching him. He learned to write by sitting on his father's knee while the man edited stories for various papers he had gained employment. He learned to cook by tugging on his mother's hemline and watching her from the table while she made dinner -or any other meal. He learned how to interact with others through smiles, waves, and nods on walks through the town, or often visits to the town center for holiday gatherings. He was a bright child, and he grew like a weed.
Tony was taller, and bigger than the three other children in the village that was his age. He could out run older children, out wrestle some of the stronger kids, and out think almost everyone when it came to games or the ability to create games. He used only a few words, but when he spoke he meant everything he said. He was not a forceful child, but was obviously a born leader when the other kid's looked for advice. Everything changed when he was nine, and his mother and father separated. The man who had been a father to him for years turned out to not be his father at all. His mother grew sick, and started to waste away. Other people in the Hollows always came by with food only to find that Tony was keeping the house pretty much alone. It was always clean, there was always food, and even though young Todd was confused, he had become the man of the house. He had no other choice.
His mother was buried at Godric Hollow's single cemetery with a small grave to the back. Tony was about to turn ten, and his mother's cousin came to live in their cottage. The man was old, firm, but kind; and, Tony could only endure the fact that he was now an orphan and really alone in the world. He continued to grow, and one day an owl landed on his window ledge. His mother always told him it would. Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry had accepted him. His mother's cousin took him to get supplies and soon Tony was on a train heading to an unknown future. His sorrow over losing his mother was still fresh in his soul as he began his journey.
School was something new to him. His natural abilities to lead seen him beginning in the sport of Quidditch. His house mates looked up to him, and he became friends with almost everyone he encountered. Tony was the strong silent type, often thinking rarely talking. He was sought out for advice, and could figure out the problems of other people easily; even if his own problems were a mystery to him. However, it was not always wine and roses. He felt alone, even in the center of a Quidditch celebration. Sometimes it was unbearable the feelings he suppressed. He tried to figure out what his problems were, and as smart as he was there was never a solution. Something always gnawed at the back of his mind.
He was an orphan, and he really wanted to learn the identity of his real father. Tony found himself looking into the faces of strangers for any sign of his own reflection. He often planned trips away in order to people watch, study others, or try to find out who his father might be. No answers came forward, and he often was left feeling lost and lonely because he couldn't solve his own questions. It became his life's mission to find out his heritage, to learn who he really was, and to play as much Quidditch as he possibly could play in a given season.
Tony is strong, a deep thinker, a born leader, intelligent, and a Quidditch player. The best way to describe him would be the "strong, silent type." He is quick with a smile, or an idea to solve a problem. He is quick to action as he fears nearly nothing. He is supportive of his friends and housemates. He loves to study people, as it became one of his biggest habits. Tony is the fastest male in the school, and runs daily to keep his skill honed. He is a natural athlete, and good with his hands. Tony doesn't have a bitter bone in his body, and can mostly get on well with anyone within the castle.
He never thinks that your House is exactly who you are. He has seen evil Gryffindors and nice Slytherings. He encountered a rather stupid Ravenclaw, and a bitter Hufflepuff. You can never judge a book by its cover; there is always something hidden within the pages worth looking into. Tony doesn't judge others until he has a solid reason to do so. This doesn't make him a push over, in fact he is a strong judge of character and can usually figure out people right away simply due to years of studying them. Everyone has enemies, and he is no exception.
