the era is of marauders. the infamous inventors of the legendary marauder's map are in their sixth year at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry. however, outside of these happy trouble making young wizards' lives a darkness is emerging. a young tom riddle aka voldemort has already begun the process of separating his soul into horcruxes. among him are deadly followers called the death eaters. voldemort's treachery is on the rise, but the only thing anyone hears of, who isn't one of his victims of course, is rumors. everyone in the wizarding world has formed their own opinions about this "menace" but no one truly knows just what this dark wizard is capable of yet. word of his attacks and murders has only begun to spread, but already, members of the wizarding world are beginning to take sides as voldemort's following grows. in a decade or so, a boy will live. the only boy to ever live.
