Anna Holmes, was born to a middle-class family, right in the center of busy London. Her father, Charles was an iron worker and her mother, Arlene, was a stay at home wife. Anna was the only child born to Charles and Arlene and they were fine with that. Charles didn't make enough money to sustain a large family but he made more than enough to support the three of them. Both of her parents are muggle, no magic in their blood as far as Anna knows but that all changed when Anna turned eight years old.
There aren't too many fathers in the world who would take their daughters to work. But Anna's mother was at a doctor's appointment, for what would later be found out she has breast cancer. Anyways her father worked at a steel factory so he kept her up front with the secretary. Anna was fine sitting up there with the woman who she just met, who looked strangely like a crow, until she heard shouting. She heard her father's shout out of everyone's and she went running to the back. There was some sort of fire going on, a bad fire, and it looked like her father had been injured. Somehow, Anna managed to levitate him and pretty much throw him back away from the danger, injuring him a bit more in the process. That was Anna's first experience with magic but she didn't even know she saved her father even though she had an idea.
Hogwarts was a whole different experience. Anna didn't know anything about he magical world until she was eleven years old and that was just because of the letter she got being accepted into Hogwarts. She was in awe the whole train ride and wanted nothing more than talk with everyone because they all seemed to know a lot more than her. A few friends she met quickly and other, ruder students pushed her away. Anna didn't take it to heart, just kept smile on her face.
Over the years the awe of being witch hasn't worn off. Her best subject is charms and transfiguration. She definitely dislikes potion but does try her hardest in the class. It didn't take long for students to figure out she is a muggleborn so she has been bullied about that since day one. Anna still doesn't get the reason why blood lines matter so along with being called a muggleborn or mudblood (which she hates) she is also called dumb or other names like that.
Anna definitely has a bubbly personality. She loves to talk and just be happy all the time. She has a positive outlook on life and definitely tries to find the best in people. This is why she is bullied almost on a daily schedule. Anna won't fight back and she won't swear, all she will do is ask the bully or bullies to stop. She doesn't get why they just can't let her be happy or amazed that she is a witch. She gets that most of the student here knew they were magic but she didn't. But now she is a witch and not a muggle. Anna is still amazed when she learns something else about the wizarding world and she loves to explain things about the muggle world to fellow students. Her good friends tend to be in her house and have a nice personality. Her best friend, Ian Galloway, she couldn't imagine her life without because she constantly goes to him when the bullying gets to be too much or when she needs a smile on her face. Not to mention she has had a crush on him since day one but just being around him puts a smile on her face.
