Abigail Ann Murray
Abiail was born to Madison (a Witch) and Ian (a Muggle) Murray on the brisk winter morning of February 11th. Her powers became apparent at an early age and her mother was thrilled, though her father seemed a little overwhelmed.
She had a happy childhood, her mother an auror and her father a sucessfl business man, and jus whe things couldn't seem to get any better her mother had a second child, a little girl named Elizabeth, who turned out to be a muggle, but Abigail loved her all the same. Things were going brilliantly for the family until one night disaster hit. The night after Abigails 8th birthday the news was brougt by an agent from the ministry; Madison had been killed while pursuing a fugitive dark wizard. Little Abigail was left heart broken, sobbing and clutching the owl necklace : the last gift mother had given her. It had been enchanted to play back her mothers voice singing her a lullaby.
Years later Abigail and her father were preparing for the first day of school, and ,much to her little sisters jelousy, not a normal school, but to Hogwarts. Excitement filled her as she pushed her cart with her new Tawny owl, Rowan, and as she watched the scarlet train pull into the station. She had hugged her little sister comfortingly and promised to write, saying she wanted to hear about little Elizabeths exciting studies as much as Elizabeth wanted to hear about her own.
Abigail worked hard in school; She was clever, friendly, interesting, and compassionate. She had not been left bitter by her mother's death, but simply older, with a better understanding of life and a determination to be an Auror and make her mother proud, because she knew now that there were things worth fighting for and even things worth dying for.
Abigail is if anything undeniably clever, just like her mother, which she takes pride in. (As her mom, a ravenclaw, always quoted to her: Wit beyond measure is mans greatest treasure). She has always gotten top marks in everything but potions due to her cunning, intelligence, and determined dedication. She tries at potions but, much to her frustration, lacks the natual skill and patience to thrive in the subject. She is very emotionally mature for a girl of fifteen and gets along well with most of her house-mates. She has a unique outlook on life, living by her own set of principles: There is good in everyone; Never judge a book by its cover; There are things bigger than just one, thingsworth fighting for; Put your all into all you do; ect. Abigail has a bad habit of trusting too much, which may just come back to bite her, but on the brght side you will never fing a more accepting person. She has a pretty cool temper, and can ignore insults aimed at her, but when someone goes after the people she cares for, a side of fierce side of her appears. Though Abigail tries to be friendly towards every one, she doen't like predjudice, gossip ,or big crowds, but prefers a small group of friends who are like family. Her favorite things to do are to ride a broomstick, sing, and to curl up in a comfy chair and read; She loves hieghts and to lose herself in the words of a story.
