• GIVE ME A DISASTER GIVE ME AN EMERGENCY •STAND ME AT THE HEAD OF THE CRUSADE WITHOUT A REMEDY ;Bella wasn’t one for taking leisurely strolls through the grounds of Hogwarts – in fact other than being out on the Quidditch pitch or at Care of Magical Creatures, Bella didn’t venture outside. Something about fresh air made her feel – clean like she should be nice. Bells chuckled at the though. Me. Nice. A psychotic looking smile flittered across her face as she shook her head ever so slightly. Long black locks bounced around her face and to anyone watching she would almost look friendly. Part of her was daring an unsuspecting first year or even an older student to test that theory. Her fingers were just itching to hex somebody.
Already out for ten minutes, Bella could feel her naturally pale skin beginning to sizzle. That was just one reason she never ventured outside. Inside was getting too stuffy though and she’d been compelled to go outside by some inner knowing. Spotting a small group of first year girls, giggling and bouncing about as they explored, Bells veered straight for them. It was their genuine naivety and unassuming friendliness that Bella loved so much. So easy to use.
“Hello!” Her voice was sickeningly sweet as she copied their bouncing trot and walked up next to the smallest girl on the left of the group. “I’m Bella, who are you?”
One or two gave her looks of complete disbelief. They must have heard of her. Good. As for the girl next to her, so small and button-cute, she smiled up as if she’d just met her new best friend. Bella almost drowned in giddiness.
“I’m Emma and these are my friends. It’s so nice to meet you, Bella.”
Bella smiled, not at them, but to herself as she surreptitiously pulled her wand from her robes. With a quick flick Emma went sprawling to the ground. The girls who recognized her snapped hateful glares, while Emma just fussed over how clumsy she was and that she must have tripped.
“Are you okay?” Bella helped the girl up, sneering at her friends behind her back. She was practically begging them to try something. A duel would relax her so much
“Oh, yes, I’m fine.” Emma twittered.
She tripped three more times before she began to suspect anything. Bella couldn’t contain her malice for much longer, but she knew the reaction on Emma’s face would be so much sweeter if it took time for Bella’s betrayal to hit her. On her fifth spill, Emma’s friends finally tried to pull her away. Awe, look they’re trying to find their spines. Bella was practically cooing over their reactions.
“You should really be more careful, Emma. You might get hurt one day.”
“I think,” Emma stopped for a moment her eyebrows pulling down. “Did – no…you wouldn’t.”
Bella sighed dramatically as she flung a lock over her shoulder. She was done with pretending, this was getting boring and little Emma wasn’t smart enough to figure out her deception.
“Silencio.” Emma’s eyes widened. “Really, you’re all so pathetic. Poor little Emma tripping over her own feet with friends who won’t do anything to help her.”
Emma tried to respond. Nothing happened. Giggling like a madwomen, Bella began flinging small stones at all of them using the waddiwasi charm. The girls screamed and yelped as they were pelted with the stones, unable to get away as Bella followed them across the grounds next to the black lake. The lake provided her with an endless source of small stones she could use.
“I’ve changed my mind,” Bella spoke to herself and no one else in particular. “Today was a good day to come outside.”

So Do You Still Feel Like you Know What Your Doing? 'Cause I Don't Think You Do Abigail was strolling along the grounds, enjoying tha beautiful day around her. The sun was shining, a nice breeze was ruffling her dark brown hair, and the grass was soft under her feet. She smiled towards a group of happy first years, remembering her first visit to the magical school. It had helped her heal so much better than anything else. She was happy to see the first years enjoying themselves as well.
She set he bag on the ground in front of her, leaned her back up against a large oak tree, and turned to look over the grounds. She saw a girl with bouncy clack curls and an odd sort of grin on her face marching towards the group of first years; The girl had a cruel beauty to her, and Abigail recognized her as Dromeda's sister, Bellatrix. The Slytherin witch's cruelty and twisted sense of humor was well known, but Abbie was reluctant to belive rumors until she had found out a person for herself, so she watched intently as Bellatrix introduced herself to the young girls with a over sweet smile. perhaps she's being genuine, Abigail thought Everyone has some kindness in them sometimes.
But as the scene unfolded, Abbie was proven desperately wrong. The poor innocent, trusting child was hexed again and again as her friends watched in horror; What was worse was that Bellatrix seemed to find satisfaction in this malice. Abigails hair tuned fiery red with anger, and her eyes narrowed. She stood abruptley and strode towards Bellatrix, pulling her wand as she walked. Two could play her game, "Petrificus Totalus!" Abigail said, casting the full body bind directly at the small of Bellatixs' narrow back. Now they could talk. • GIVE ME A DISASTER GIVE ME AN EMERGENCY •STAND ME AT THE HEAD OF THE CRUSADE WITHOUT A REMEDY ;Bella was having more fun outdoors than he ever had before. First years made good test subjects for practicing her spells and as they all screamed and tried to dodge the small stones she chucked at them her giddiness grew and grew. Already she could see bruises beginning to form on their exposed arms and legs and she was betting underneath their robes they would be just as black and blue. They could think of those marks as reminders not to mess with her. Everyone needed to know their place here at Hogwarts. She knew hers, though she was pretty close to the top of the totem pole, and now it was their turn.
“Petrificus Totalus!” The body binding spell hit her in the small of her back before she could so much as face her attacker. Keeling over, Bellatrix fell face first into the grass her body stiff as a board. Whoever the culprit was they were about to lose their life. She did not take well to being hexed and anyone smart enough knew not to dare try. If they didn’t end up in the Hospital Wing they would end up in St. Mungos.
Seething in her stillness, Bellatrix waited for whoever had hexed her to let her go. There was no breaking the body binding curse. All she could do was wait to be let go. Bella did not wait for anyone or anything. Time to die…

So Do You Still Feel Like you Know What Your Doing? 'Cause I Don't Think You Do Abigail didn't smile as she watched Bellatrix hit the ground, stiff. She hated to put anyone in pain, but this girl needed it; her victims were already bruising. She strode over to Bella, her red hair flowing behind her, her sweet face flushed, and knelt down so she could see her. "Bellatrix, right?" she said, "Look, I'm sorry to do this, but honestly, if you must bully people, why don't you pick on someone your own size?" she asked, her voice dangerously icy, yet reasonable.
She held her wand tight in her hand, spells running through her mind. She was observant, alert, ready to react, with all the reflexes of an Auror that she had picked up from her mother. The look on Bellatrix's face was murderous, and she knew she was in for a duel. She released her livid opponent with a flick of the wrist, her wand pointed loosely at her, ready to go on the defensive.
The two girls were equal in height, age and skill. Abigail was easily underestimated, but she was talented and clever; still, Bellatrix would be very, very difficult to beat. Abbie wasn't frightened, weary, but not frightened, and did not regret her decision; She knew to stand up for what was right, no matter the risk. Besides, what was the miserable witch going to do, kill her? From the look in her eyes she just might. • GIVE ME A DISASTER GIVE ME AN EMERGENCY •STAND ME AT THE HEAD OF THE CRUSADE WITHOUT A REMEDY ;Bella felt the spell lift and immediately sprang to her feet with her wand at the ready. Not only had the little prat of a girl lost her the only source of entertainment on the grounds, but she'd had the audacity to give Bella orders. No one gave Bella orders - ever. Especially not some goody goody ravenclaw who thought she could play hero without any consequences.
When Bella actually looked at Abigail Murray all she really saw was a nerd with a stupid complex. She didn't seem to understand that she was the prey to Bella's predator. That would be quickly and easily dealt with. Bells felt no real threat from this girl. While she knew they were in the same year and Ravenclaws were naturally intelligent, Bella had mastered her magic and had the cruelty to back it up.
"Luck runs out eventually little girl and I think yours just came to crashing halt." Bella sneered. "You've got a smart mouth - which I don't like. So lets get rid of it, why don't we? Silencio!"
One Bella's favorite spells to use on her fellow classmates when they just wouldn't shut up, Bella was particularly skilled at casting it. She didn't need to listen to anybody, certainly not Abigail Murray. All Bella really heard when others of lesser blood status spoke was 'blah blah blah, poor me, blah blah blah'. Constant complainers.
"You really should learn to stay in your place." It was physically taxing to restrain herself from killing the girl, but if she was expelled from Hogwarts who would teach these lesser beings the rules of life in the wizarding world. Purebloods would always be on top, anyone else was simply a pawn to be used.

So Do You Still Feel Like you Know What Your Doing? 'Cause I Don't Think You Do Abigail sneered as she silenced her with a curse, as if that would stop her. She felt her features becoming more threatening; she hated it when they did that, but she couldn't control herself when fraught with emotion. Abigail, being skilled at charms, had nearly mastered nonverbal enchantments, so was annoyed but not disabled by Bella's hex.
The cruel, miserable girl seemed to resent any feelings of happiness, and instead of dark arts, Abbie cast an unpredictable spell upon her opponent. A cheering charm. Abbie grinned as Bella's countenance became warm, happy. The features didn't go well with her cold features, and Abigail knew it wouldn't last long, especially on such a skilled and unpleasant witch such as Bellatrix Black.
Abigail wondered briefly how this duel would conclude; Perhaps matching beds in the hospital wing? So long as she avoided expulsion. Abbie had let her guard down for a moment too long and was barely too slow to block Bella's oncoming curse. Give em' hell, turn their heads Gonna live life til we're dead
It was a really good day for a long fly. The sun wasn't exactly shining upon them, but neither was it blocked by dark clouds. And the breeze, oh man. The only think James did effortlessly in this world and loved the most was to fly through a breeze like this, feel the wind messing his already hair. He felt so free.
But of course, no one could stand the fact that he was doing what he loved.
Actually, he could've just ignored whatever that was happening, but both the trouble-maker and Gryffindor in him refused to just pretend that he saw nothing.
He had caught sight of a group of girls, looking to be rather tiny, in front of another girl who looked to be older. From where he was flying, nothing was clear, but he could make out the tiny form of a girl being repeatedly thrown back. And then the next thing he knew, they were running away, and in came another figure. He watched whatever that happened next in curiosity, before he decided that he had to intervene.
He descended in the air, landing beside the two girls, and rolled his eyes to see Bellatrix Black standing there, duelling with...what's the girl's name? He knew she was from Ravenclaw....Gaby? Abi? Oh yes, Abigail! She was the Ravenclaw Seeker! Quidditch rival...but she was a nice girl.
He dismounted his broom, allowing it to lie on the ground, and ran forward when he saw that Black had sent a curse towards the unsuspecting girl, and shouted: "Protego!" The shielding charm was strong enough to knock Black off her feet. "Well well...looks like Black is picking a fight again. What? Couldn't find enough boys to entertain you? Need to torture unsuspecting classmates?" he smirked as he sauntered towards the pair of them.

So Do You Still Feel Like you Know What Your Doing? 'Cause I Don't Think You Do Abigail was in mid- hex when she heard a boys voice behind her and Bellatrix was knocked backwards by the shielding charm. She was really fired up at the moment, and didn't even know if she was happy for the shield between Bellatrix and herself. Being a peace maker herself, Abbie was hardly accustom to the hatred inside her. She turned, watching Bella wearily out of the corner of her eye, and saw James Potter standing beside her. She recognized him as a quidditch rival, but also a good guy.
Abbie wondered briefly how James knew, and seemed to despise, Bellatrix. She quickly realized that his best friends last name was black as well. Strange; She had never really connected the two.
She turned back to Bellatrix and a scowl reappeared on her sweet face. "Yes, Bella here just can't seem to help herself." she replied to James, referring to those poor fist years, her eyes locked with Bellatrix's. She wondered what would happen now, but just knew that she couldn't drop her guard; The shield charm wouldn't last forever. • GIVE ME A DISASTER GIVE ME AN EMERGENCY •STAND ME AT THE HEAD OF THE CRUSADE WITHOUT A REMEDY ;The cheering charm hit Bella straight in the chest and the sudden warm melting feeling of happiness that seeped through her forced her limbs to relax. Unable to stop smiling due to the spell, Bellatrix made a sort of angry growling sound that could also pass as a bit of a laugh because it came out so garbled. She could almost feel that tickling sensation when about to laugh fill her body but she refused to actually … giggle!
Bellatrix had mastered nonverbal spells with ease and with barely even a flick of her wand she sent a stinging jinx at the insolent little Ravenclaw. With another small flick the cheering charm stopped and Bella relaxed back into her normally malicious position. Unfortunately before her hex could reach the girl a shield charm sent it bouncing off away from her and forced Bella to her butt.
"Well well...looks like Black is picking a fight again. What? Couldn't find enough boys to entertain you? Need to torture unsuspecting classmates?" Bella seethed as she recognized the voice of her ex-cousins Neanderthal-ish best friend James Potter.
"Yes, Bella here just can't seem to help herself." Bella looked at Abigail with enough hatred to freeze hell.
Quick to jump back to her feet, Bella sent a jelly-leg jinx flying at Abigail’s protector. “No, no, the boys serve me just fine, thanks,” she said all too sweetly. “I could help you if you want - I mean with Evans giving you such a hard time – I’m sure you could use some pointers in how not to repel every female in a hundred mile radius.”
Brushing the grass from her knees, Bellatrix began to pick at the dirt under her nails as if this whole situation was perfectly normal. For it generally was seeing as she was in a duel at least every other day if not more often.
“Oh and for you,” Bella scent a jelly-fingers curse at the girl in retaliation for her cheering charm. These weren't her favorite spells, but she reserved those for when she felt like causing bodily harm instead of just watching her victims flail around a bit. “I’m giving you a warning, I suggest you take it and stay out of my way from now on.”

So Do You Still Feel Like you Know What Your Doing? 'Cause I Don't Think You Do Bellatrix caught James off guard, but was not so tactful with Abigail. On extra alert since she cast her first jinx at James, Abigail was fast enough to create her own shield charm to ward off the Jelly-fingers, though her hands did turn numb and she almost dropped her wand all the same. She narrowed her eyes as Bellatrix gave them a warning, not shrinking under her icy glare. "Oh, of course officer" she thought bitterly, reminded of the muggle police.
She cast a quick, anxious glance at James, hoping he didn't end up injured for her sake. Abigail knew how powerful her opponent was, and also knew that this duel was a dangerous one. Her only consolation was that she was a good dueler herself, not armed with the brute force or ferocity, but quick to react and quicker to think.
She felt hatred for the smirk that never left her opponents face; It was taunting, ugly, infuriating. Spells ran through Abagail's head, and she found it was a waste of thought as she settled upon perhaps the simplest and most effective spell she knew. "Expelliarmus" she cried in retaliation. Give em' hell, turn their heads Gonna live life til we're dead
James snorted when he heard Bellatrix's comeback. "Pointers in how not to repel every female in a hundred mile radius, really? Oh come on, Black. With the exception of you and your annoying, bimbotic sister, every other female in this school bloody worships me. Ever seen the look on their faces? And don't bring Lily into this. You have no right to even utter her name," he growled the last part. The name of Lily being sneered from Bellatrix's mouth had distracted him, and he hadn't been quick enough to deflect her curse. But Abigail was, and James send a smile her way. "Thanks, duel buddy," he grinned at her.
He turned to face Bellatrix once again, holding his wand aloft. How much he hated this vile girl infront of him. For what she did to his best mate, for what she constantly does to other students, for what she is. She was downright evil and crazy, and James had often thought just how pathetic she could get. Always bullying everyone.
Of course, he did that too. But it was always a good prank. Fun. Never serious, never (too) harmful. Except, when it involved Snivellus. Oh, he never escaped the wrath of the Marauders. Never.
He swished his wand and casted a Babbling Charm at her, just as Abigail casted her disarming charm. James could just laugh thinking how funny Black would look, babbling. He was going to spread this all over Hogwarts.

• GIVE ME A DISASTER GIVE ME AN EMERGENCY •STAND ME AT THE HEAD OF THE CRUSADE WITHOUT A REMEDY ;Abigail and James spells hit at the same time causing her wand to fly a foot away from her as she began to babble mindlessly as she tried to curse them. Stopping talking she glared and headed for her wand making sure not to turn her back on them. Fuming, Bella leaned down and grabbed her wand before sending a Conjunctivitis curse at James. Whipping her wand over to Abigail she sent a Furnunculus curse flying her way. She could care less about her babbling – she didn’t need to speak to wreak her own form of havoc and she’d had enough of these two.
With a quick flick of her wand she removed the babbling curse and watched the two of them with smug smiles. “Really? That’s the best you have to throw at me? This isn't our first year here and I’m not someone you can pick on like you do with Snape, Potter.”
Bellatrix twirled her wand through her fingers as she took a step towards the castle a devilish smile on her face. “Oh and James, I’ll say whatever I like about your little Mudblood. I wonder what she’s doing right now. She’d look better with boils all over her face, don’t you think?” She’d have so much fun putting a blemish on that little mudbloods face.

So Do You Still Feel Like you Know What Your Doing? 'Cause I Don't Think You Do Abigail was not fast enough to block the curse that flew at her, and she began to panic as boils erupted on her skin. And then she realized- she was a Metamorphagus. Would it work-Why not?Abigail willed her skin to change, too ward the boils away. She smirked triumphantly at her opponent as her pale skin felt smooth once again.
“Really? That’s the best you have to throw at me? This isn't our first year here and I’m not someone you can pick on like you do with Snape, Potter.” Abbie sneered in reply; The fact that James bullied Severus bothered her, but far less than Bellatrix did. The stupid smile on her face alone was enough to send her blood boiling- and then she used that word. Mudblood
Abigail absolutely hated that filthy word. It was prejudice, vile, uncalled for- and though Abigail was not muggle born herself, she had many good friends who were, not to mention her father who was a muggle himself.... "Don't use that word" she said, her voice dangerously icy. She felt anger stronger than it ever was flow through her. Give em' hell, turn their heads Gonna live life til we're dead
James let out a frustrated growl when the Conjunctivitis curse hit him, since he was too distracted, laughing at Balck babbling to actually bother casting the shielding spell. His eyes were shut, so he couldn't really see what Bellatrix had done to Abigail. Instead, he waved his wand at himself, casting the counter-curse. Soon enough, the irritation in his eyes was gone and he was back to normal.
"Watching you babble is extremely amusing, Black. You make more sense that way than when you actually talk, fancy that," he said, gasping in mock surprise. His mockery quickly turned into anger when Bellatrix started calling Lily mudblood. "Do not call her that," he growled through his gritted teeth.
His anger soon reached his peak and he waved his wand aggressively, casting a blasting curse at the stone wall beside her. "I hope you get buried under that and never get up again!" he yelled, though he was fairly sure someone as tough as Bellatrix Black was too hard to beat so easily. He knew he was being unreasonably angry, but he tended to be irrational when anyone mocked Lily or his Quidditch skills.
