prefects and heads

every house has two boy and two girl prefects of fifth, sixth, and seventh year. to uphold this position your character must be a hogwarts fifth year or older and have a minimum of 50 posts or is a canon with the position already. there is one head boy and one head girl in all of hogwarts that can be chosen from any of the four houses. head boy and girl are voted on by the entire site and are nominated by the headmaster. anyone with over 75 posts who is a sixth or seventh year will be nominated for a head position (although they also have the choice to exclude themselves from the running if they so wish).

note: the canons who are prefects are chosen as thus based on what we know from jkr. she indicates that both james and remus have both been prefects of gryffindor but we gave the sixth year position to remus since james already has quidditch going for him, and it can be assumed that james was a prefect in fifth year.
