[classy=bigtext]about her[/classy][classy=smalltext]une chanson que tout le monde aime[/classy][classy=text]celeste is thirty-two years old, undeniably female, and an alumna of beauxbatons in france. she teaches astronomy at hogwarts now, and has been for the past seven or so years, so there's also that. other than having adoptive parents living in france, celeste has no relatives to speak of. personality-wise, celeste might not be the most agreeable person. she does whatever she wants whenever she wants to, so if you're a stickler for law and order ... well, oops. she's free-spirited and incredibly independent, but not a bad person. (usually.)[/classy][classy=bigtext]friends[/classy][classy=smalltext]c'est ta vie, fais c'que tu veux[/classy][classy=text]I'd assume most of celeste's friends would be other people like her; she's very open and affectionate to most people, but her sense of humor is usually at the expense of others. she's always up for dancing or partying or pranks, but she probably won't contact you again. celeste, being a fundamentally selfish creature, always has her own interests before the well-being of others -- so if it benefits her to ignore you, don't expect a call back. if you can put up with her strangely capricious personality, however, she's generally a fun person to be around. unfortunately, however, she does not make many, if any, close friends -- getting past the realm of 'buddy' into the world of legit 'friendship' is difficult. she will certainly listen to your secrets, but secrets of her own she tends to keep close to her (small, shriveled) heart.[/classy][classy=bigtext]enemies[/classy][classy=smalltext]dis-moi c'est quoi ton probleme[/classy][classy=text]celeste's enemies ... are actually rather numerous. she doesn't exactly keep track of how many people hate her guts, but she guesses it's some number way up there. the problem with celeste is that she's unpredictable -- she might punch your face one day and be all over it the next or vice versa. thus, all of her ex-lov ers (... of which there are kind of a lot) tend to kind of hate her. she also has this nasty habit of being incredibly flashy and over-the-top. among the people who don't like her are usually the more level-headed people. celeste's thirty-two, and she should be more mature, but the woman usually doesn't bother. oh, and there's no filter between her mind and her mouth, so if she thinks your smell is revolting, bet everything you have that's the first thing she's going to point out.[/classy][classy=bigtext]lovers[/classy][style=font-family:courier new; font-size:10px; letter-spacing:2px;margin-top:-9px]ça va pas bien comme ta tête[/classy][classy=text]... welp. celeste has some serious commitment issues. her view of the world is pretty much every man (or woman) for him (or her) self. celeste absolutely despises children, which is why she really doesn't like to teach first- or second-years, and it also probably stems from the fact that she can't have any children. she's all for one-night stands, but she hates being tied down -- and, well, having a single romantic partner is being tied down. she secretly hopes to fall in love one day, but so far she hasn't had any feelings for any other person, male or female. another professor wee! okay, so i was thinking they could have some kind of relationship maybe you could help me figure it out. basically freddie is like a carefree hippie. he's a little bit mad and a bit of a bumbling oaf at times. anyways his one true love is kayla benson, his childhood best friend, but she has never really felt the same and had a muggle husband and lived in the muggle world for most of her life after hogwarts, so in the meantime while celeste and freddie were at hogwarts teaching they could have developed some kind of relationship; can be friends, enemies, or a physical fling where she took advantage of his push-overness or something haha i am open to all.. any ideas?

Hi! This is Ana! Ana is a free-spirit as well , and also adopted (though she doesn't know that), and would LOOOOOOVE astronomy. Usually, she would rather be outside thana tudying, but astronomy would be the exception to that. I can see her having a very close relationship with Celeste, maybe more like a mother daughter relationship? y/n?

I know that students are super popular with harry potter sites, but adults are cool too okay. she'd probably end up finding his quirkiness incredibly amusing, and probably go to him if she was bored out of her mind and wanted a laugh (which, admittedly, isn't very nice of her "orz). but freddie's kindness would definitely get taken advantage of every now and then -- maybe he could run some errands that she just couldn't be bothered to do, or help her grade or something. they'd be kind of friends, I'd think? celeste's not one to really make friends, and she might just end up ignoring him for weeks on end because she didn't think he'd be interesting enough, but I'm sure they'd at least be on good terms. I'm all for a previous fling or whatnot -- arceus knows celeste's not very choosy, and freddie's definitely adorable enough to catch her eye in that way at least once. if anything, she might end up wanting to pry into his personal life and find out about kayla -- then laugh at him pity him or something.[/classy]

(and, by the way, none of those are my views, they're cel's -- she's kind of sort of incredibly concieted. just in case you take offense: I love ana, ngl.) but a student who actually likes astronomy would definitely get a plus in celeste's book. I'm not sure about a super close relationship, because celeste would probably be completely and utterly uninterested in her students half of the time and doting on them the other half. if ana can get past celeste's dysfunctional personality, however, I'm pretty sure celeste might regard the girl as a bit more than 'oh that one girlie who's a total darling' and might even take on the role as the girl's mentor-type thing. (just, uh, celeste might end up being kind of a jerk if she's in a bad mood, and might even offer to take ana drinking sometimes; not the best mentor, admittedly.)[/classy] |

sounds great! yeah she could have befriended him when he came to england a couple of years ago and then they became drinking buddies and basically spill each other's sorrows to each other over alcohol haha she probably wouldn't know that he is actually an ex-auror hell bent on personal vengeance against voldemort, but maybe we can do a thread one time where they get so drunk that he spills the beans and she's just like uh... saywut?

[classy=bigtext]and charlie[/classy][classy=smalltext]vas-y, secoue-toi et danse[/classy][classy=text]yeah, I doubt she'd know about him from the get-go. celeste can hold her alcohol like a four-ton elephant so I'm pretty sure she'd take great pleasure in watching him get wasted first lol. but it wouldn't surprise me if she opened up to him eventually, drunk or not. and his whole former occupation would definitely surprise her, but she'd take it in stride (or try to. depends on how emotional he's getting). after that, she might make it her obligation to make sure he doesn't hurt himself too bad if he tries to go after the dark lord, because even she wouldn't want to face that guy in a duel. (and she probably doesn't make many friends like charlie, okay. :c)[/classy] |

I think Celeste and Keira would get along very well, since Keira is just as free-spririted and doesn't care much for commitments. I guess the problem comes in where Keira is a Death Eater, baha. Maybe Celeste could be the friend who tries to help Keira out of the deep trouble she's in? Keira is kind of a reluctant Death Eater.

I don't see how keira being a death eater would be a problem -- unless keira tries to kill celeste or something, I doubt the woman would care either way. (yeah, she's a hogwarts teacher and should probably take a stand against the dark lord and everything, buuut.) she'd probably take up her wand against keira if it threatened her job and well-being, but if nothing happens between them celeste is perfectly willing to let sleeping dogs lie. ofc, celeste's pretty nosy, so if keira ever hints at being troubled with her position as a death eater celeste might end up trying to pry the truth out of her. after that, it's possible that she might want to help keira out a bit? maaaybe. ...or she might laugh at keira's misfortune.
/cough. in any case, I definitely think they could be on good terms with each other despite their affiliation. cel is quite a bit older than keira, so she might end up being a little like an older sister-type thing.[/classy] |

aww, thanks <3 and yes i think that sounds great. i guess the interaction between them could be amusing at times :D Keira has always hated her brothers for being too over-protective, so Celeste being kind of a big sister would be perfect. shall we start a thread? :)
